Eighth Biennial International Conference on Music since 1900

The Eighth Biennial International Conference on Music since 1900 will take place at the Creative Campus, Liverpool Hope University, 12-15 September 2013. We invite proposals for papers, paper sessions, roundtable discussions, lecture-recitals, and posters:

Keynote lectures will be given by Robert Piencikowski (Paul Sacher Foundation Basel, Switzerland) and Caroline Potter (Kingston University, UK). The conference will also include plenary sessions on directions in contemporary music and the making of the B.B.C. Television animated film version of The Cunning Little Vixen, which was instigated by the European Opera Centre (including screening of film), a lecture-recital by the pianist Joanna MacGregor, an electro-acoustic concert featuring the Manchester Theatre in Sound diffusion system, and a contemporary Indian art music concert by Milapfest.
