Göteborg International Organ Academy, 4th Biennial Meeting

Call for Papers


The Göteborg International Organ Academy will hold its fourth biennial
meeting August 7-18, 2000.  In celebration of the inauguration of Göteborg
University's four-manual North-German organ in Örgryta Nya Kyrka, the
Academy solicits papers, not previously published, on any aspect of its
main theme -- The North German Baroque Organ: Construction, Music,
Context. Oral presentations, in English, of the accepted papers wil be
strictly limited to 20 minutes, in order to allow ample time for
discussion. 

 Papers are to be submitted as full text, in English. The length should not
 exceed 15 double-spaced pages.

 A separate cover page should include the author's title and name,
 information on education, academic degrees, institutional affiliation - if
 appropriate -, mailing address, telephone and fax numbers and - if
 available- e-mail address.

Submission implies a commitment to present the paper at the Organ Academy
2000 and also a consent to its possible publication in the GOArt Research
Reports.  Writers will be notified concerning publication within six
months following the Academy. 

 Papers must be received by the Secretariat of the Göteborg International
 Organ Academy no later than December 1, 1999.
 Authors will be notified on acceptance before April 1, 2000.
