The Music of Charles Tournemire

CALL FOR PAPERS Invitations are extended to scholars and interested parties to submit abstracts for papers to be read at a conference devoted to the music of Charles Tournemire (1870-1939). Presentations concerning all aspects of the composer and his times will be considered, with preference given to papers of a cross-disciplinary nature. The conference will take place under the auspices of the Institute of Advanced Musical Studies, King's College London, on 29 September 2001. Submissions are requested by 15 June 2001. The day will end with a recital by the Tournemire specialist Georges Delvallée, and there will be an exhibition of paintings by Tom Walker on L'Orgue Mystique.
