CALL for PROPOSALS ACSUS 2001

The Association for Canadian Studies in the United States (ACSUS) welcomes
proposals for papers, roundtables, workshops, poster exhibits, and plenary
sessions at the 16th Biennial Meeting to be held at the Hyatt Regency
Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas, November 14-18, 2001.

All proposals must have a definite Canadian focus, even if on a
comparative subject. A particular emphasis or theme of the San Antonio
meeting is, appropriately, Canadian and Mexican connections, including the
triadic relationship exemplified by NAFTA. Proposals embracing or at least
touching upon this theme will be greatly appreciated.

The complete call for proposals has been mailed to ACSUS members and is
available at the ACSUS web site at http://www.acsus.org. Forms for
submission of all categories of proposals are available at the web site as
well.

To accelerate the process and ease our paper-burden, we would appreciate
that all communication, especially proposals, forms, and abstracts, be
sent by e-mail.. Proposal with abstract should be sent by e-mail to
sanantonio@acsus.org, by fax to +1-202-393-2582, or by postal mail to
