Theatre History and Development in New England in the Last Fifty Years
Boston, November 2001

The New England Theatre Conference/College and University Division announces
a call for papers to be presented at the 50th annual convention in Boston,
11/2-4/01.  The theme of the convention "NETC -- A Theatre Odyssey,"
celebrates the last half century of theatre in New England.

Papers will focus on any topic of theatre history and development in New
England in the last 50 years -- institutions, individuals, movements,
theatre companies, plays & playwrights, etc.  Presentations including
visuals -- slides, video, clips -- are strongly encouraged.  Papers will not
exceed 8 pages (15 minutes reading time), and should be accompanied by an
abstract of no more than 200 words.
Abstracts should be received by 6/10/01 and full papers are due 9/15/01.
