CRISS CROSS CONVERSATIONS ABOUT AMERICA'S MUSIC a symposium in honor of Richard Crawford 18-19 APRIL 2003 UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN, ANN ARBOR http://www.music.umich.edu/events/future/crisscross/
On the occasion of Richard Crawford's retirement from the University of Michigan, his students and colleagues wish to mark his tenure with a conference that recognizes his contributions to the field. Over the course of Professor Crawford's career, American music scholarship has moved from the periphery to the core of inquiry into American culture and music scholarship generally.
