RMA Study Day Sponsored by the Royal College of Music, London and the Open University Longman, Broderip, Clementi & Co: Music Sellers and Instrument Makers Royal College of Music Tuesday 8th April 2003, 10:00-5:00 An RMA Study Day will be held at the Royal College of Music to explore current research surrounding the companies of Longman & Broderip and Clementi & Co in 18th- and 19th-century London. Areas under discussion will include their activities as music publishers and musical instrument dealers together with their broader context in London musical life. Organized by Jenny Nex (Royal College of Music) & David Rowland (Open University) and sponsored by the Royal College of Music, the Open University and the Royal Musical Association. Abstracts are invited for papers of 20 or 30 minutes in length. Please indicate any audio/visual equipment requirements. Conference fee (including sandwich lunch) £6.50; a number of free student places are available.
