Schiller and Music

The Royal Academy of Music is holding a half day conference on Friday
March 11 2005 from 2-8 pm to mark the bicentenary of the death of
Schiller. This will concentrate on Schiller's aesthetics of music and
settings of his works by nineteenth century composers, particularly

Speakers include Lorraine Byrne, Amanda Glauert, Udo Reinemann and Roger
Vignoles. There will be a concert in the evening.

Admission to the event is free. Pre-registration is not necessary.
