2005 CONFERENCE

CALL FOR PROPOSALS


Proposals are now being accepted for papers, panel discussions, and
performances for the conference of the Haydn Society of California to be
held April 2 - 3, 2005 in Claremont, California.  Papers should be no more
than 20-30 minutes, with time allowed for discussion.  Panel discussions
and performances should be 30-40 minutes, with time allowed for
discussion.  Performance practice lecture/recitals are especially welcome.  
Please send a written proposal of no more than two pages, double-spaced

Deadline for proposals is December 20, 2004

The Haydn Society of California, in cooperation with Scripps College, the
Haydn Festspiele Eisenstadt and the Classical Music Festival is planning
and hosting this two-day conference dedicated to the works and life of
Joseph Haydn.  The conference will be held in the new Performing Arts
Center on the Scripps College campus.  Further information about the
Society and membership will be forthcoming in a Conference announcement
and available on the society website:
