Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire and its legacy

Kingston University is hosting a one-day conference on performance
issues connected with Pierrot Lunaire and the impact of Schoenberg's
masterpiece on contemporary composers.  The conference is linked to Dr
Jane Manning's AHRC-funded work on Pierrot in performance; the day
will end with a concert, and confirmed participants include Sir Peter
Maxwell Davies.  Proposals for papers (lasting a maximum of 20
minutes) are welcome.  Please send a title and abstract (of no more
than 200 words) to Dr Caroline Potter (address below) by 13 January
2006.
