Prokofiev Study Day

Goldsmiths College, Lewisham Way, New Cross, London SE14 6NW, Saturday 25th March 2006


The Serge Prokofiev Archive, in association with The Centre for Russian
Music, is proud to announce a Prokofiev Study Day, to take place at
Goldsmiths College in London on Saturday 25th March 2006. The day's
programme will feature papers from some of the world's leading scholars
and interpreters of Prokofiev's work, including Boris Berman, Sir Edward
Downes and Alexander Ivashkin. Professor Berman (internationally-renowned
pianist and Prokofiev expert) will also conduct a masterclass, and will be
joined in an evening concert by Alexander Ivashkin and others to bring the
Prokofiev Study Day to a fitting conclusion.

All events will take place in the Council Chamber, Deptford Town Hall.

Entry to the Prokofiev Study Day 2006 is FREE but you must register.
