Musical Journeys with the Flight of the Earls

DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, Dublin, Saturday 3 February 2007


An exploration of the exchange of music and musicians between Ireland and
Continental Europe in the period 1600-1750 and how the musical nomads are
recorded in Irish traditional music of later periods.

The symposium will be held in DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama,
Rathmines Road, Dublin, Ireland on 3 February 2007 with papers given by:
