The symposium is a meeting of the Research Society for Foundations of Music Research (sponsered by the Fund for Scientific Research - Flanders, Belgium). The activities of the Research Society aim to create a platform for interdisciplinary music research at a post-doctoral level. Responsable is Prof. Dr. M. Leman, Dept. of Art, Music and Theatre Sciences, Institute for Psychoacoustics and Electronic Music (IPEM), University of Ghent.
