Canadian Society for Renaissance Studies 1998 Conference, Ottawa, May 1998 Call for Papers
The 1998 conference of the Canadian Society for Renaissance Studies will be held as part of the 1998 Congress of the Social Sciences and Humanities, at the University of Ottawa, May 28-30. The Society invites 500-word abstracts for papers, in English or French, on the following, as well as on open, topics: Erasmus and His Legacy, Montaigne and the Construction of the Self, Manuscript Studies and the Passage between Manuscript and Print, Translation and Translation Theory, Amicitia, Renaissance Music, Edict of Nantes: 1598-1998. Abstracts should be received by January 6.
