To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the
Ohio University College of Fine Arts, the
School of Interdisciplinary Arts seeks
papers for a Graduate Student Conference
on the Athens campus on the broad theme
of “Interdisciplinarity.” The twenty-minute
presentations should be interdisciplinary in
scope and be related to the arts.!
Abstracts are invited on interdisciplinary
approaches to or work in or across topics
related to any of the following fields of
study: visual arts and architecture, theater,
music, film, dance, literature, poetry, video
gaming, visual culture, popular culture,
aesthetics and theory, communication,
cultural studies, gender studies,
performance studies, sound studies,
African arts and literature, Southeast Asian
studies, media studies, humanities, social
sciences, science, engineering, medicine.
We also welcome presentations which
explore the nature of interdisciplinarity.
