We welcome submissions on all aspects of audiovisuality, including, but not limited to, music and sound for fiction film, documentary, television, music video, video games and interactive media.

Competition for “Open Circuit” festival: “Open Circuit” is a festival of new music, sonic arts, and audio-visual installations curated by the School of Music in association with the Liverpool Biennial. Part I will be held during the conference (25-6 June): this will include a competition. The prize-winner will have their work displayed in Part II as part of the Biennial. Works must be an installation piece for a single screen video projection and sound.

Fees and student bursaries: We are delighted to offer 10 student bursaries. To apply, please submit a CV and a short paragraph explaining the significance of your work, along with your abstract or audiovisual installation.

All conference fees include lunch, refreshments and wine reception:

• Standard rate: £40 (£25 for one day)

• Student rate: £25 (£15 for one day)
