35th Asian Composers League Conference and Festival
Conference theme: Fusion and Transformation – Asian Contemporary Compositions since 1990

The Asian Composers League was founded in 1973 by Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan, with the purpose of promoting the art music activities in Asian countries, as well as fostering mutual exchange between these countries.
Currently, the ACL official member countries and regions include: Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Tatarstan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam. Representatives from other countries and areas, such as China, Europe and America often attend the conference and festival as observers, too.
Today the Asian Composers League is the most vibrant and influential contemporary music organization in the Asia-Pacific region. The Conference and Festival are magnificent events which are held annually and biennially, hosted by the member countries under the auspices of the ACL. It is an important venue for promising Asian-Pacific composers with different cultural backgrounds to present their works, exchange ideas and build solidarity amongst themselves.
The 35th conference and festival will be held from Oct. 19 to 23 at Taipei, Taiwan.
Abstract submission guidelines:
A submission should consist of a zipped folder containing:
– The title and paper abstract in English (200 words), headed with author name(s), organization affiliation (if any), contact address, telephone, and email address.
– A brief bio of the author (150 words).
