8:00 PM world premiere of the music theatre film WECHSELWIRKUNGAs part of this PEEK research project, the FOS Lecture Series looks into the artistic process of composers, musicians, and performers and explores various terrains of contemporary music and music theatre. For this exchange across disciplines and cultures, Pia Palme and Christina Lessiak brought together renowned composers, performers, musicians, scientists and researchers. Their investigations comprise themes such as fragility and interdependency, space and sound, membranes and surfaces, filters and transitions, movement and the body, as well as society and environment, identity and gender. All these these multiple fields contribute to the vast landscape of music theatre today. In the context of this series, music theatre is understood in the widest sense: as an endeavour to collaborate musically, or more general, one could think about sounds moving in, through, or with space and time.Join us on an inspiring journey into contemporary culture and music: together, we want to explore ideas, we want to discover, discuss, and critically comment the various results and insights. Lectures will mostly be in English, with some exceptional presentations in German.
